Experiencing the Folds of Honor event as Chase Rice's photographer was unforgettable. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and purpose as everyone came together to support a mission close to their hearts. The goal was clear: raise essential funds for the families of fallen and disabled service members. More than just a concert, the event aimed to create real change in people’s lives.
The evening was a beautiful mix of heartfelt stories, breathtaking performances, and a community united by a noble cause.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the organizers, who shared the Folds of Honor mission. This nonprofit has awarded over 35,000 scholarships, amounting to more than $160 million, to children of service members who have sacrificed so much for our country. Hearing stories of bravery and resilience was both inspiring and heartbreaking, reinforcing the need to support our heroes and their families.

I also had the privilege of photographing talented artists like Jordan Davis and Riley Green, each bringing their unique style and energy. Their camaraderie was evident, showcasing that they were united in support of Folds of Honor and the families involved.
As Nashville natives came in, it felt particularly special to witness these celebrities gather for such an impactful cause. The music industry has a unique ability to unite people, and this event exemplified that ethos. The laughter, the tears, and the joy shared that night contributed to a larger narrative of community support.
A standout moment of the evening was the fundraising auction. Attendees bid on exclusive items, contributing generously to the cause. By the night’s end, more than $600,000 had been raised for Folds of Honor. This impressive amount highlights the community's commitment and the event's profound impact.
Photography goes beyond taking pictures; it’s about freezing moments that carry meaning. Being part of the Folds of Honor event enabled me to fulfill that purpose. I wasn’t just a photographer; I was a storyteller, sharing the essence of a night dedicated to honoring our heroes.
Reflecting on my time as Chase Rice's photographer at the Folds of Honor event emphasizes the profound impact music and community can make. The night overflowed with emotion and generosity, aimed at supporting the families of those who have given so much. Looking back at the images, I feel grateful to be part of such a significant event.
The ripples of this experience will echo long after the music fades. I encourage anyone who gets the chance to attend a Folds of Honor event to seize it. You will enjoy incredible performances and become part of a movement making a genuine difference in countless lives.
